Adept at helping parents address kids’ emotional, social, and academic needs, she uses open communication and proven strategies that support them at home, school, and in the community. Helping kids build confidence and resilience by providing a safe, supportive place to process emotions and overcome obstacles inspires Elodie and reinforces her commitment to the work she does every day.

What experience do you have working with families?

As a therapist and supervisor, I have extensive experience collaborating with families to address children's emotional, academic, and social needs. This includes facilitating family meetings, providing resources, and creating strategies to support their children’s well-being at school and at home. My approach emphasizes open communication and empowering families to actively participate in their child’s growth and success.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I was inspired to become a therapist by my passion for supporting young people through life’s challenges and helping them build resilience and confidence. Witnessing the transformative power of a safe, supportive space to process emotions and overcome obstacles solidified my commitment to this work.

What are your strengths?

My strengths as a therapist include building strong, trusting relationships with clients, fostering a safe and nonjudgmental environment, and tailoring evidence-based interventions to meet individual needs. I excel at helping clients navigate challenges with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a focus on long-term growth.

I want families to know that I am deeply committed to supporting their children’s well-being. I approach my work with empathy, professionalism, and respect for each family’s unique values and experiences.
