Making benefits work for today’s working families
More than two-thirds (69%) of parents and caregivers say their children suffered from a behavioral health issue in the last five years. This has serious implications for employers: Children’s behavioral health challenges can bleed into parents’ home and work lives, causing loss of productivity, disengagement, and increased turnover in the workplace.
In fact, one in five parents and caregivers (21%) have quit their jobs in the past year or are planning to in the coming year to care for their children’s behavioral health needs. What can benefit leaders do to support working families and help them better care for their kids?
